We believe that a good holiday should also include good food – ideally a successful mix of different cultures. That's why we not only offer you tasty South Tyrolean delicacies, but also Italian specialties such as pizza and pasta and a variety of international cuisine. So every day you can enjoy something different and it never gets boring.

Good morning

At the Kesslwirt, the day starts at 7:30 a.m. – with a hearty breakfast buffet, which you can enjoy in the cosy, modern dining room. What can you look forward to? Jams from Val Martello. Apples from Castelbello. Spicy cheese from the valley. Original South Tyrolean bacon and sausage specialities. Fresh yogurt. Delicious types of muesli made from local cereals. Soft butter. Freshly squeezed juices. Juicy Val Venosta Paarlbrot and other types of bread from local producers. Teas made from herbs that grow on the mountain pastures. Full-bodied Italian coffee. And for all those who suffer from gluten intolerance, there is a separate gluten-free corner. This is what we mean by "good morning happiness" at the Kesslwirt!

Our tip:
order a fried or scrambled egg with your breakfast – this is freshly prepared by us and brought to your table. We also spoil you every Sunday with very special delicacies or even a glass of Prosecco, and a copy of the morning paper. Let us surprise you!

An evening at
the Kesslwirt

The "starting signal" for dinner is 18:00, offering an exquisitely prepared salad buffet followed by a 3 course menu. Each day, we serve creative dishes of regional Italian cuisine and you can look forward to different theme nights, depending on the season. We also like to spoil you every Sunday with our "Sunday menu", which includes an extra course. You can also enjoy a glass of wine from local wine producers (yes, there are quite a few of those in Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars!) or our traditional house beer.
