All roads lead to…
Ciardes in Val Venosta/Vinschgau

Well, maybe not all, but certainly many! You can reach the Kesslwirt not only by car or motorcycle, but also easily by train (the Vinschgerbahn stops almost directly in front of the hotel) or by bike. Cycling is a particularly attractive way to travel, since the Via Claudia Augusta (one of the most important Roman roads in the Alps) passes by our hotel. Choose your favourite means of transport and you're ready to go – we're waiting for you!

From north:

From Munich take the A 8 via Rosenheim to Kufstein and then the A 12 to Innsbruck. Here, turn off onto the A 13 towards Brennero/Brenner. Follow the Brennero/Brenner motorway (A 13/A 22) to the exit Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd. Take the MeBo towards Merano/Meran and the Venosta/Vinschgau state road (SS38) to Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars. At the village entry, on the left side, opposite the prominent building of the fruit cooperative, you find the road leading to our hotel.

 

From west:

From Bregenz take the Rheintal motorway (A 14) to Bludenz, then the Arlberg express way (S 16) to Zams and the Inntal motorway (A 12) to Landeck and the Passo di Resio/Reschenpass. Now follow the Vensota state road (SS38) to Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars. At the village entry, on the left side, opposite the prominent building of the fruit cooperative, you find the road leading to our hotel.

From Zurich drive via Landquart, Klosters, the Vereina tunnel, Zernez and Ofenpass via Müstair to Taufers im Münstertal. Then follow the Val Venosta/Vinschgau state road (SS 38) to Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars. At the village entry, on the left side, opposite the prominent building of the fruit cooperative, you find the road leading to our hotel.

 

From east:

Drive from Lienz to San Candido/Innichen and on the Val Pusteria/Pustertal state road (SS49) to the motorway entry in Bressanone/Brixen. Now follow the Brennero motorway (A 22) until you reach the exit Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd. Take the MeBo towards Merano/Meran, and the Val Venosta/Vinschgau state road (SS38) to Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars. From south:

By train:

The Val Venosta/Vinschgau train (or Vinschgerbahn) goes regularly between the Merano/Meran train station and Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars; the station is located only two minutes’ walk from our hotel.
